Fun and Entertaining!

Get inside Ezra Bridger’s thoughts and mind in the latest Star Wars Rebels book from Studio Fun. Star Wars Rebels: Rebel Journal by Ezra Bridger follows the adventures of the focus character of the new Disney XD animated series. The book acts as a replica of Ezra’s personal journal, where he records his daily activities and sketches whatever captures his attention. The journal explores events prior to his introduction in the series as well as his interactions with the members of the Ghost’s rebel crew.

Studio Fun specializes in creating unique toys and other interactive elements that enhance the reading experience for young readers. Ezra’s journal incorporates fold out features that allow the reader to interact with the pages of the book. Additionally, the extra section in the back of the journal includes blank pages for young Star Wars fans to tackle their own story and encourage their imagination to run wild.

My favorite aspect about the book is the art. As a visual person, I’m attracted to colors, pictures, drawings, and anything else that tugs at the reader’s attention. The book includes Ezra’s sketches, doodles, photos “taped” to the pages, starship schematics, and various other treats that flowed out of Ezra’s mind. If you’re a parent looking for something that will stimulate your child’s mind and looking to immerse them in the universe of Star Wars, Ezra’s journal is a great start. The book is both entertaining and creative, making it a fun item to add to the book collection.

Continued excellence in Disney/Lucasfilm's Star Wars literature releases!

This book is the perfect companion to the early episodes of the Star Wars Rebels TV Show. Ezra's Rebel Journal is quite lovingly put together by Daniel Wallace, author of The Jedi Path and Book of Sith, meaning that in-universe content is of the same caliber. Torn-out pieces of magazine articles, Imperial propaganda flyers, and even Imperial ID cards are "taped" into the book, showcasing alot of the culture and life of the planet Lothal in this troubled time. One particular entry ties into the book by Ryder Windham "Ezra's Gamble" featuring an appearance by the bounty hunter Bossk, so that continues lining out the amazing work that the Story Group is doing in the new Star Wars canon.

A very good buy and a much better purchase than the companion Sabine book.
